GAM UK Distribution Team presenting a cheque for £12,649 to staff at Evelina London
Every pound you raise is directly spent helping us to change the lives of sick children. Your money will help us to buy the latest medical equipment, support life-saving research and provide children and their families with support during their time at Evelina.
Supporting Evelina London at Christmas
Our corporate partners play a key role in making Christmas a special and memorable time for our patients and their families, and of course our amazing staff. As you can imagine, Christmas 2020 is going to look slightly different this year, however, the support we receive from corporate partners will still have a huge impact on our patients.
We have worked closely with the hospital to establish what is possible this year and most importantly, what is safe and needed by our hospitals. Sadly, due to infection control and limited storage space at the hospital, we are unable to accept donations of toys or facilitate visits this year.
As always, our priority is to ensure patients are supported in the best possible way. With this in mind, we are asking our loyal corporate supporters to give financial donations this year. Every donation will go a long way in supporting areas across our hospitals that will most benefit patients and staff this festive season.
To speak with one of our corporate fundraisers to find out how your company can support this Christmas, please contact us at info@supportevelina.org.uk.
With your support we can ensure Evelina London continues to be an extra special place for our patients and their families. We hope your company will consider donating to our hospitals during what continues to be an incredibly challenging time.
Christmas fundraising ideas
Festive Jumper Day
Raise £150 by organising a Christmas jumper day at work with the merriest pullover! – colleagues to all send photos in for the winner to be voted on. Everyone can vote and donate towards Evelina Children’s Hospital in return for the festive fashion show!
Healthy Holidays
Resist the temptation to tuck into the mince pies or chocolate in the lead up to the big day, recruiting friends and family to sponsor you along the way for the hardship!
Santa Run
Who doesn’t like dressing up as Santa (or in your best festive gear) and running around their local park or office? This year, spread the festive joy by running through your local park! All runners could log times on Strava and share photos of them completing the run and pay £5 to take part.
Festive Photos
Consider yourself the next wildlife photographer of the year? Or are your matching family outfits already in the post? This year, to show off your photography skills, why not host a Festive Photo competition! Ask everyone to submit their best winter scene photographs to be judged and a winner picked with a donation to take part.
Christmas Exercise Challenge
Feeling a little confined to your office chair? Why not take on an exercise challenge for every day in December – get family involved and create your own advent calendar of exercise and get sponsored!
Carol Singing
Do you have the voice of an angel? Rally round your team and have a festive singalong with a virtual concert over zoom! Invite friends and family along with donations being made to attend to get you all in the festive spirit!
Decorating Competition
Decorate your workspace background for teams and zooms calls – everyone participating to make a donation, pay to vote for winner and boss to use winning background for a day!
Virtual Festive Quiz
Everyone loves a festive quiz; this year make it virtual and include a donation to take part.
Staff Christmas Party Budget
If your staff Christmas party has to take place online, why not donate the budget allocated for your staff Christmas party this year?
